Jodhpur is one of the most amazing cities in India for one peculiar reason. It’s a blue city! Over half of the houses in Jodhpur are painted blue, have a blue roof or blue ornate doors. However, it isn’t just the blue vibes this city a must visit destination.
What motivates an entire town to paint their homes, streets, and buildings blue? Ask a local and they don’t really know! they all just said it was history or tradition.
From the Mehrangarh Fort, you get a clear idea of how blue the city is. This fort is unmissable. Literally. You can see the thing from almost all over the city.
